JIO Institute Space Branding:

Background :

Jio entering the space of education with a 50-acre premise in Mumbai. The TG is experienced professionals who want to upskill with a brand of international repute.   The positioning is cracked, and the values are in place.

Challenge :

Impressing and inspiring a wide array of target audiences – right from international faculty to international students, students from across India, and internal audiences.

Research and Strategy :

Research: Multifold deep dive, firstly to understand and profile all different target groups to find the single thread to connect them all. Secondly, understand the function and design of every space. And thirdly understanding the why of brand Jio and its values.

Strategy: The Jio premise would be the central point for all target groups, no matter how different the places they came from. They would be in Jio Institute because they could relate to the brand. The strategy was to center the communication around the values of Jio and the space people were in. 

The Truthvertising Moment :

The Brand Truth: The brand values would matter to everyone who came to this space
The TG Truth: Their decision to choose Jio would greatly depend on what Jio stands for
The Space Truth: Marrying the space functionality and the brand values could make the walls speak the same language as the brand and create relatability.

The Output :

The Academic Block:

The design that took birth in the dot of the identity and the communication took roots in the values that defined the brand.

The dot transformed into lines and values transformed into words to sometimes inspire, sometimes nudge, sometimes motivate and sometimes just tickle the brain, depending on the functionality of the space.

 The Residential Block:

Here the vibrancy of living came to life, as the situation and the function changed. Crazy selfie points, to a splash of colors and shapes and forms to create a highly engaging vibe for the residing students.

The result :

Visitors said, “It feels like the walls and the people of Jio Institute are speaking the same language.”
